Mission Statement
The name of the publisher derives from the Japanese words for information and disclosure. True to its origin, Jouhou Koukai Publishing is a leading provider of English-language information products and services to professional end users in regulatory, scientific and intellectual property (IP) information markets. The Jouhou Koukai Publishing provides electronic documents (e-documents), electronic books (e-books), printed documents and books, and databases, intelligence, and complementary services such as document delivery primarily to regulatory, business development and research professionals worldwide with focus on the Japanese pharma and life sciences industries, and pharmaceutical regulatory affairs. Throughout our documents the expression "Japan pharma industry" is used only for clarity and to avoid the redundancy. The expression "Japan pharma industry" implies to the industries in Japan for pharmaceuticals, healthcare products and services, medical devices, quasi-drugs, diagnostics, cosmetics, nutraceuticals, and also life science industries, manufacturing medicinal products for human use regulated in Japan by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW, Koseirodosho) and the Government of Japan.
